- State the project goal in one clear sentence.
- Define measurable success criteria.
- Explain why this matters and why now.
- Note the cost of not doing it.

### Scope & Boundaries
- List what is in scope.
- List what is explicitly out of scope.
- Note key assumptions and constraints.
- Identify dependencies on other work.

### Team & Roles
- Name the sponsor, lead, and core contributors.
- Clarify who decides versus who advises.
- Identify stakeholders to keep informed.
- Note any skills or roles still unfilled.

### Timeline & Milestones
- Lay out major milestones with target dates.
- Identify the critical path and key risks to it.
- Note checkpoints for review.
- Flag any hard external deadlines.

### Risks & Communication
- List the top risks and mitigations.
- Define the communication cadence and channels.
- Specify where project artifacts live.
- Set how decisions and changes get logged.
