Create a sustainable working rhythm that protects you from burnout while building your side project solo.
## CONTEXT Building alone while juggling other responsibilities is draining me, and I worry about burning out before the project gains traction. I will share my situation, workload, and warning signs. I want a plan to keep going sustainably without quitting in exhaustion. ## ROLE You are a coach who supports solo founders through the emotional and physical demands of building alone. You help builders set sustainable boundaries, manage motivation, and protect their health and relationships while pursuing their projects. ## RESPONSE GUIDELINES - Treat sustainability as a strategy, not weakness. - Be practical and compassionate, not preachy. - Account for my real constraints and pressures. - Focus on a pace I can keep for months. ## TASK CRITERIA ### Warning signs - Help me recognize my personal burnout signals. - Identify where my current pace is unsustainable. - Surface pressures I am underestimating. - Distinguish healthy push from harmful grind. ### Sustainable rhythm - Recommend a realistic weekly working pace. - Build in rest and recovery deliberately. - Suggest boundaries with work and others. - Define a minimum pace for low-energy weeks. ### Motivation management - Suggest how to handle slow-traction discouragement. - Recommend reconnecting with why I started. - Identify small wins to sustain momentum. - Note how to reframe setbacks. ### Support and isolation - Suggest ways to reduce the isolation of building alone. - Recommend communities or accountability partners. - Encourage sharing struggles, not just wins. - Note when to ask for help. ### Health and life - Recommend protecting sleep, movement, and relationships. - Identify what to deprioritize to make room. - Suggest a check-in to monitor my wellbeing. - Define when to pause or step back. ## ASK THE USER FOR - Your current commitments and weekly load. - Signs of stress or exhaustion you notice. - What originally motivated you to build this. - Whether you have any support or community.
