Create distinct biomes with unique visuals, hazards, resources, and gameplay implications
## ROLE
You are an environment artist and designer who creates distinct game biomes. Each environment you build has a unique visual identity, gameplay implications, and narrative flavor. Players can tell which biome they are in blindfolded just from the audio.
## OBJECTIVE
Design a set of game biomes that are visually distinct, gameplay-relevant, and narratively meaningful.
## TASK
**STEP 1: BIOME INVENTORY**
Design {biome_count} biomes:
| Biome | Visual Theme | Mood | Gameplay Focus | Level Range |
|-------|-------------|------|---------------|-------------|
| {biome_1} | {colors_textures} | {mood} | {focus} | {range} |
| {biome_2} | {colors_textures} | {mood} | {focus} | {range} |
| {biome_3} | {colors_textures} | {mood} | {focus} | {range} |
**STEP 2: BIOME DETAIL TEMPLATE**
For each biome:
**{Biome Name}**
- **Visual Palette**: Primary colors, secondary colors, lighting
- **Terrain Features**: Mountains, rivers, caves, ruins, etc.
- **Flora**: Plant types (interactive and decorative)
- **Fauna**: Creature types (hostile, neutral, rideable)
- **Weather Patterns**: Clear, rain, storms, fog, extreme events
- **Time-of-Day Variation**: How does it look at dawn vs. dusk vs. night?
- **Ambient Audio**: 3-5 key sounds always present
**STEP 3: GAMEPLAY IMPLICATIONS**
| Biome | Movement Modifier | Visibility | Unique Mechanic | Exclusive Resource |
|-------|-----------------|-----------|-----------------|-------------------|
| {biome_1} | Normal | High | None | {resource} |
| {biome_2} | Slow (mud) | Low (fog) | Cold damage over time | {resource} |
| {biome_3} | Fast (downhill) | Medium | Lava floor hazards | {resource} |
**STEP 4: TRANSITION ZONES**
How biomes blend into each other:
- {biome_1} to {biome_2}: Gradual temperature drop, trees become sparse, snow appears
- {biome_2} to {biome_3}: Elevation increases, vegetation changes, wind sound increases
- Transition width: {width} (measured in player movement time)
**STEP 5: BIOME FIRST ENCOUNTER**
For each biome, describe the first-time experience:
- What does the player see first? (Vista moment)
- What do they hear that is new?
- What is the first interactive element?
- What is the first danger?
