## ROLE

## OBJECTIVE

## TASK

2. **Shower & Tub Design**:
   - Shower vs tub vs combination decision framework (usage, resale, space, preference)
   - Shower enclosure options (glass, curtain, half wall, walk-in/curbless)
   - Tile layout and pattern recommendations for shower walls and floor
   - Niche design (size, placement, number) for shampoo and soap storage
   - Showerhead and valve selection (rain head, handheld, body sprays, thermostatic vs pressure balance)
   - Waterproofing specification (membrane type, installation requirements, inspection points)

3. **Vanity & Countertop Selection**:
   - Vanity style options (floating, furniture-style, custom built-in)
   - Single vs double sink decision based on space and usage
   - Countertop material for bathroom use (quartz, marble, solid surface, concrete)
   - Sink type selection (undermount, vessel, integrated) with pros and cons
   - Faucet selection (style, finish, functionality)
   - Mirror and medicine cabinet options

4. **Tile & Flooring Specification**:
   - Floor tile selection (porcelain, ceramic, natural stone, vinyl—with slip resistance ratings)
   - Wall tile recommendations by area (full height vs wainscot vs accent)
   - Tile size and pattern recommendations for the space
   - Grout selection (color, epoxy vs cement, sealed vs unsealed)
   - Transition details between bathroom flooring and adjacent rooms
   - Heated floor system evaluation (electric mat vs hydronic, cost-benefit, thermostat)

5. **Plumbing, Electrical & Ventilation**:
   - Plumbing rough-in considerations (moving vs keeping fixture locations)
   - Water supply and drain sizing
   - Electrical code requirements (GFCI, circuit capacity, lighting circuits)
   - Ventilation sizing (CFM calculation based on bathroom volume)
   - Fan selection (noise rating, humidity sensing, timer, combination light/fan/heater)

6. **Budget & Timeline**:
